Areas of Concentration: Diane's areas of concentration are tax consulting and preparation of returns for individuals, trusts and estates, corporations, partnerships, LLC’s and non-profit organizations. She also provides accounting and business services for all business forms and non-profit organizations. Her business engagements include manufacturing, retail, service companies, charitable organizations and individuals.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Magna Cum Laude with a major in Accounting from Wichita State University; Wichita, KS.

Credentials: Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP)

Experience: Has been with BSE, LLC, Hutchinson, KS since 1974. Joined SJHL as a Principal in January 2012 when the two firms merged.

Professional Affiliations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Tax Section of AICPA; Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (past member of KSCPA board of directors); Central Kansas Chapter of Certified Public Accountants; and National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).

Community Involvement: Diane currently serves as a Board Member for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas and Treasurer for Delos V. Smith Senior Citizens Foundation. In the past she has served as a Board Member for the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce; Chair Person and Past vice Chair for the Hutchinson Hospital Corporation; Chair for the Hutchinson Hospital Foundation; Treasurer for the Reno County Historical Society; and Trustee at the First Presbyterian Church.
