More On Steve Seltzer

Areas of Concentration: Steve's areas of concentration are primarily in individual, corporate and partnership taxation and business accounting services and consulting. During his professional career, Steve has been in charge of numerous audits and other professional engagements of businesses, not-for-profit organizations and governmental entities. This varied background, along with his concentration in taxation, has given him a firm understanding of issues faced by our clients and the experience to help our clients resolve those issues to achieve the most benefit to them and their companies.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Kansas State University; Manhattan, KS.

Experience: Has been with BSE, LLC, Hutchinson, KS since 1975. Joined SJHL as a Principal in January 2012 when the two firms merged.

Professional Affiliations:  AICPA, Tax Section of AICPA, Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants; Central Kansas Chapter of KSCPA.

Community Involvement: Steve has served as the Treasurer of the Hutchinson Rotary Club, the Reno County Historical Society and First Presbyterian Church where he also has served as an usher and Trustee of their endowment funds; past president of the Hutchinson Accounting Club and the Ark River Chapter of Pheasants Forever. Currently serves as Vice-President of the Wesley Towers Foundation; Treasurer of the Springer Spaniel Club of Central Kansas and the Northeast Oklahoma English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association.
